Pulp Fiction and High Tea

This week I attended the 20th anniversary showing of Pulp Fiction at Movie House Dublin Road. It was a film I’d seen only once before but, as it is one of Barry’s favourite’s, I decided to treat him to a little surprise! The cinema was packed (this showing had completely sold out so they put on another one)  which proved the film’s legendary cult status. If you haven’t seen the movie, it’s well worth checking out, especially if you’re a fan of Quentin Tarantino’s “newer” films, Inglorious Basterds and Django! No doubt if you haven’t watched Pulp Fiction, you’ll know that famous dance scene!

Then on Saturday I spent the afternoon with a friend treating ourselves to some ‘high tea’ at Oscar’s Champagne Café at Chichester Street beside the City Hall. On top of glasses of Prosecco, we had sandwiches, scones, buns and cakes! A great little selection in this cosy city centre café!photo tea 2
